SoftSmiths Market-ERCOT
Houston, TX. – December 7, 2006 – SoftSmiths, Inc., a

to SoftSmiths Power and SoftSmiths Market-ERCOT for its
power trading, resource planning, scheduling,
risk measurement, settlement and accounting. BTU QSE Services
is responsible for the wholesale power marketing,
ancillary service bidding, and energy scheduling and
settlement activities on behalf of Bryan Texas Utilities
(BTU). BTU has been serving both the City of Bryan and
rural customers in east central Texas for almost 100
years.

consolidates ERCOT market information into a single

required to submit information to ERCOT and resolve
billing charges.
