The most recent update includes new features and improvements which makes the application even more functional, faster, and easier to use. SoftSmiths e-LMP is available as a Software-as-a-Service offering.

SoftSmiths e-LMP allows market participants to monitor and collect LMP values published by regional market operators, displays these values in graphical and tabular formats, and provides tools to analyze LMP data. All in a single LMP database interface, accessible that benefits different functional groups, such as:

• Allowing dispatchers to monitor Real-Time prices (5-min data)

• Allowing Trading personnel to watch LMP prices as they come in and show them what prices are being paid

• Assisting Supply Planning personnel in long-range planning and allows them to analyze price levels in different areas

• Offering Checkout personnel insight and provides them a basis to predict LMP prices

SoftSmiths e-LMP provides users to see interval, hourly, and daily time ranges, differentiate between Day Ahead and Real-Time market, configure specific nodes, and use copy-to-clipboard to import into a spreadsheet.

By retaining historical LMP data in a local repository, SoftSmiths e-LMP facilitates trend analysis, and provides a detailed history of changes to LMP values during the day-ahead, real-time, and settlement phases.
