SoftSmiths Market MISO provides a seamless interface between SoftSmiths’ e-Wheel transmission scheduling application and the MidWest Independent System Operator’s (MISO) Physical Scheduling Software (PSS). SoftSmiths’ new offering includes all the functionality needed by transmission companies participating in MISO and getting ready for the Market trials in September, 2004 and the Market start in March, 2005.

Building on its experience with the pre-market MISO ESS application interface, SoftSmiths offers SoftSmiths Market MISO for e-Wheel as a solution that processes all E-Tag schedule requests (both original tags and profile changes), and automatically validates each request against a set of transaction rules. Users then approve or deny the request within e-Wheel and the decision is seamlessly transmitted to MISO.
