Mega Energy Chooses SoftSmiths

The service enables REPs to
automatically download and present ERCOT Forecast and
Backcast information in user-ready format and
immediately calculates Forecast values for short and
longer horizons. Users can compare Forecast and Backcast
data with settlement level load extracts and view this
in tabular and graphical format. SoftSmiths ERCOT
Forecaster allows users to set up ‘What If’ scenarios
based on different customer profile counts and export
data into Microsoft Excel for additional analysis.
Streamlining the forecast process with
SoftSmiths ERCOT Forecaster will reduce the time spent
on data gathering, analysis and administration, thereby
improving efficiency and accuracy.
