SoftSmiths Customers Successfully Pass Connectivity
Testing for ERCOT Nodal
Houston, TX. – January 28, 2010 –

successfully re-qualified with ERCOT by passing the
Nodal market participant XML data connectivity testing
using SoftSmiths Market-ERCOT to communicate with the
ERCOT servers.
To qualify, ERCOT Qualified Scheduling
Entities (QSE) had to show their ability to submit,
query, and cancel specified market transactions no later
than January 28, 2010 to be ready to participate in the
next phase of market trials. The Nodal Market is
scheduled to go-live in December 2010.
